Founder & Host

Masrur is an international business and marketing professional, business consultant, cross-border project designer, and cross-border strategic collaboration expert with over a decade of experience driving business strategy, sustainable initiatives, and cross-national collaboration. He is the Founder and Host of the Good to Great Podcast.

His global perspective was shaped early in life when, as a high school student, he was selected to participate in a U.S. Department of State exchange program. During this formative leadership experience in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Washington, D.C., he attended multiple sessions at Capitol Hill, the American Red Cross Headquarters, Amnesty International Headquarters, and the U.S. Department of State. He was also invited for an interview at Voice of America in Washington, D.C. - an experience that sparked his passion for cross-cultural collaboration and international impact from a young age.

As Country Coordinator of Fashion Revolution Bangladesh, Masrur transformed Bangladesh's role in a major global sustainability movement. He designed and led the Upcycle Universe Design Competition, connecting emerging Bangladeshi talent with renowned judges from IFA Paris, Central Saint Martins (UK), and Istituto Lorenzo de' Medici (Italy). He then pioneered the groundbreaking Bangladesh–Nigeria Cross-National Virtual Exchange and Design Competition, a first-of-its-kind initiative that brought together 50 participants across two continents, fostering cultural exchange and collaborative innovation.

Through Fashion Revolution's global networks, Masrur expanded his influence internationally. He delivered a virtual guest lecture at Istituto Lorenzo de' Medici in Florence, Italy, and organized international speaker series in partnership with Fashion Revolution Sweden, featuring thought leaders from Finland, Germany, Thailand, the UK, Sweden, and Italy. These initiatives broadened global dialogue on ethics, transparency, and innovation. At the regional level, Masrur represented Bangladesh at the Fashion Revolution Asia Regional Strategy Meeting in Manila, Philippines, collaborating with Country Coordinators from eight Asian nations to co-develop a 10-year global strategy. He engaged strategically with stakeholders from over 50 countries, ensuring Bangladesh's voice remained central in shaping the future of the movement worldwide.

Throughout his career, Masrur has worked with leading companies including BRAC-Aarong, Beximco Group, Epyllion Group, and Apex Footwear Limited, where he specialized in international business development, omnichannel e-commerce, marketing strategy, and business operations.

Today, Masrur continues to bridge industry, advocacy, and education, leveraging his diverse experience to drive meaningful change at the intersection of business, sustainability, cross-national collaboration, and international trade.
