He designed and led the Upcycle Universe Design Competition, connecting emerging Bangladeshi designers with renowned judges from IFA Paris, Central Saint Martins (UK), and Istituto Lorenzo de' Medici (Italy). He then pioneered the groundbreaking Bangladesh–Nigeria Cross-National Virtual Exchange and Design Competition, a first-of-its-kind initiative that brought together 50 designers across two continents, fostering cultural exchange and collaborative innovation in sustainable design.
Through Fashion Revolution's global networks, Masrur expanded his influence internationally. He delivered a virtual guest lecture at Istituto Lorenzo de' Medici in Florence, Italy, and organized international speaker series in partnership with Fashion Revolution Sweden, featuring thought leaders from Finland, Germany, Thailand, the UK, Sweden, and Italy. These initiatives broadened global dialogue on ethics, transparency, and innovation in fashion.
At the regional level, Masrur represented Bangladesh at the Asia Regional Strategy Meeting in Manila, Philippines, collaborating with Country Coordinators from eight Asian nations to co-develop Fashion Revolution's 10-year global strategy. He engaged strategically with stakeholders from over 50 countries, ensuring Bangladesh's voice remained central in shaping the future of sustainable fashion worldwide.
